FINALLY after like 3 weeks of calling people and no shows got someone to actually show up and deal with the lawn at the NC house. Seems no one wants to work or care to get new business.

Hopefully this guy works out, if not will have to get myself a sweet riding mower... but then I need a trailer to get it to the house... and a place to store the trailer.... and a C8....

18 miles (1 hour) on the trainer (too windy to ride outside). Still, aside from the legs, that doesn't take much of a toll on the body.

After vodka/cran and all the snacks I'm now at 356 blood sugar. I thought alcohol was supposed to lower bs???

If you drink a moderate or small amount of alcohol, it can increase blood sugar. If you drink excessively, it'll lower it, and possibly into dangerous levels. Not a doctor but that's what I've heard.

Today was a good day. I walked in Home Depot and found two 25lb buckets of 6 in 1 3" chlorine tabs for the pool.

The shortage has places and people jacking the price sky high when you can actually find it, but these were the same price as always. These same buckets are jacked up by an extra $100 online.

I watched an American football match on Freesports it was Seattle against Vancouver and I was surprised at how well and professionally they played.
It's known as soccer over there.
