It's funny how when Lewis wins with a fast car it's all the car, but when max wins and the rb16b is multiple tenths of a second faster per lap quicker than the w12 it's all max... The favoritism is unreal.

I have to give credit where it's due, Lewis did some absolutely fantastic moves today, even when he faked the turn in to get max to go defensive setting up the subsequent over take. Beautiful moves by Lewis, I see why people consider him the goat.

Don't forget in Mexico the rb16b was so fricken fast even checo was catching Lewis yet max was given the credit and called the best driver.

When the w12 goes "fast" then it's all the car. Yet Bottas even with a new engine (is when Mercedes is able to turn things up to 11 and get all this speed) is unable to pass in traffic every single time. Whereas with both Perez and Verstappen the rb16b has been shown it's able to pass in traffic without issue (Perez even did a pit lane start at one point this year and was able to still finish high up). This shows that even with the speed boost the w12 is inherently affected by dirty air more than the rb16b and is extremely difficult to overtake with when following. This shows how skilled Lewis was today and during the sprint race to essentially go from last to first, I truly see why people consider him the goat.

I normally don't ever get into driver debate but the one sided favoritism of max is absolutely unreal, so I had to give an unbiased point of view from the outside and from a person who only really cares about the engineering vs. is a huge fan of certain drivers.

I guess we sort of know why Mercedes went with the engine swap now - there would be no issue pushing it to the limit without having to worry about damage for the remainder of the season. Assuming VER and HAM would be 1 or 2, Mercedes would have to win the final 3 races to win the drivers championship.

See if your Japan connections can throw some light on it. It's funny some are saying RB should concentrate on '22 car but Merc seem to have an open cheque book for these huge upgrades now, that's so funny of them they haven't a clue what's happening.

I don't think you know how this works...

No engine upgrades can come during the season if you've already introduced it, since mercedes and RB already introduced new Ice's this year they're not allowed an upgrade till next season. RB already introduced new electrical upgrades too so they're likely done for 2021. The only way to get more power now is to do it via engine mode aka run it harder, but that's impossible unless you have a new pu since running the engine harder kills it faster. RB won't be able to run the Honda pu full beans unless they get a new one in Max's car aka a grid penalty. If RB does that I'm sure Merc will take one too and at that point we know the mercedes pu when run full self destruct mode is more powerful than the Honda pu which is more reliable.

So I don't think Honda can rely on out right speed even with a new pu, they have to go faster by cornering since they have more downforce.

Saturday amazing Sprint race
and the todays drive to the win.

It's not the car, Hamilton is in the top class of racing drivers. Max is in that same class, would love to see them both go properly head to head.

Those that keep talking about it being just the car, did they think the same when Schumacher was winning? Anyway a great race today and such a good win despite everything that was thrown at the team.

HAM's car was all night secured and locked down by the FIA ...
HAM's cheating DRS wing was locked in another room .
You know ...It's just a question of trust !

Personally I think the Mercedes PU got more power ,from while the PU replacements were going on ...
Perhaps had Mercedes somewhere PU's with more power on the shelf .
It's well known , that they got a Turbo Upgrade as well ..
