Amen brother. Every day sending out resume to at least 5 open positions, will either stay here in NC or move back to Detroit and be with family.

Engineers make it to the floor back here for 5 minutes to bitch at operators about hour by hour charts, then go back up front to their office. Really? Heh. Yeah. The world is full of REMFs. I would think real estate is still good in the D (fu Dallas people). However, that weather. I don't think I could go back. Ever. Good luck to you. We Detroit survivors need to stick together!

Market isn't too bad up there, but like you said, the weather has been a major deterrent, so counting on finding something here would be the best, at least for now.

Honestly, the only reason I'd go back is because of family. Everything else pretty much sucks, most notably the weather. Gotta go where the money is and it's a manufacturing-tropolis so might be able to find something that pays a lot more than down here. Who knows. Should just go back to being a dancer at the strip club or something.
