Because strenght training while biking is too much for our muscles , they need recuperation .

If you plan to strength your legs ...Watch out with your lower back as well !
I haven't started riding with them yet because they are all really fast. I've got a little ways to go before i can hang on to their wheels. Two of these guys were on the Cuban national race team. As they were the best they had, Cuba sent them here to race under their flag and they defected. Two brothers. The others are just random fast guys. Ex-racers, coaches, etc...

I don't have a "winter" for strength training. lol Florida..... We can ride all year long here, so there are lots of fast people here.

I have a good sports masseuse as well and it is very helpful. I also plan to cut back the rides from 4 a week to 3 a week, thus reducing distance from ~290km to ~170km One of those 3 rides will be recovery pace as well.

Something along the lines of... Tuesday leg day. Thursday 1.5 hour 40km recovery ride. Saturday 3 hour 80km fun ride with intervals. Sunday 1.5 hour 50km threshold ride.

Keep in mind i'm not looking to go crazy with strength training. I'm going to be doing a lot of odd stuff on strength days to also target those intrinsic joint supporting muscles as well. I'm a firm believer that strength training staves off injury.

Yeah...right lol ,here in Belgium we can only dream about the Florida weather, here is Belgium is biking also fighting against the elements of the weather..and that really s@cks in Belgium!
Back in time my feet and hands were almost frozen and started to look blue..
in February-march , I will never forget some of those races..

These 2 guys from the Cuban national race team have knowledge enough , that's for sure ..and that's perfect for you as well .
My contacts with the roads (few times on the ground) I will also never forget !

Actually yes. Switched my order to the Xiaomi instead of the Aukey. Quality seems much better than Aukey, and it's $12 more.

There is a hidden accessory port in the passenger foot well of my car (going to assume it's on all newer Bimmers, anybody want to confirm?). Going to use the supplied wire to run camera.

There are a lot of hot wires in the dash, that could be tapped for power...however I'm trying to make this as painless as possible.

Trying to find a decent power bank that supports usb pass through. Off my calculations are correct, a 12,000mah bank should give me at least 12 hours of recording time, after the engine is shut off. Should charge up while driving too.

Tesla is going to be a lot harder. I thinking of routing the wire out to the accessory battery. Problem is going to be getting the wire to the battery.

It can be either or. Key on would mean it would record while driving only. Constant would allow recording at all times.

Problem with constant is the battery drain. There's an OBDII method...but from my testing, the OBD port isn't constantly powered.

Do you have a power sun/moon roof? If so, it's a very short route to the power that runs to it. And it's bound to be on a strong enough circuit to add the small amp usage.

I pulled my trim today to get a look. Definitely some potential. Need to go in with a diagram and multimeter.
