I am at 2725 miles (4385km) so far this year. Not a crazy amount of miles, but yes, helpful.

I say all diet because i could out eat the biking pretty easily with just a few bad decisions each day. But the biking makes me feel fantastic. It's just surprising to me having lost 52 pounds (23 kg). Most people said i didn't look over weight before i started losing.

Your better condition makes you feel better , bike did the trick .

No, i just started cycling at the beginning of the year, so those 4.4k km are my first 4.4k km.

I'll be adding almost 900km and 6700m of climbing in the next two weeks. Most of my roadie friends race pretty regularly. I don't have the conditioning or leg stamina yet to run 120k and have any effective sprint at the end.

After i get back from Montana in a few weeks i'm going to start strength training and adding in some more calories to my diet to try and put on a few pounds of muscle.

This is the first year i've followed any part of Le Tour, it's pretty interesting. Much more strategy than i ever assumed.

There is a this chick in Tampa that's trying to set a world record. She's on something like the 70th day in a row of averaging 250 miles each day. I rode a couple of laps with her Saturday and today.
