I have done some (slightly delayed) research on David Beckham's voice, and I think it sounds fairly normal... maybe not the manliest of man voices, but not a crime against humanity.

Seriously though, this is the 3rd guy in the past week to ask if I want to invest.

The last dude's pitch was hilarious.

Dude: Bro, I need your help, can we talk?
Me: Sure.
Dude (now on Skype video): How are you?
Me: Well.
Dude: Alright. I've started a new company, and need to get a loan.
Me: Ok...how much?
Dude: $800,000,000.
Me:...are you sure you meant dollars? Did you mean rupees?
Dude: No bro, I mean dollars, that's why I used dollars. How would I go about acquiring such a loan? You think Chase would be willing?
Me: (Trying my hardest not to laugh) Thats a lot of money. You're also a foreigner. You need to get all your papers in check, and start pitching to potential lenders. Don't want to sound rude, but your chances of getting said money are low. Also, why do you need so much?
Dude: Why? It's a zero risk investment! There is no risk, whatsoever. It's a clean energy plant for India. The government is already willing to back me, I just need to get funding.
Me: right...zero risk... Why not just get it from the government? Or from within India? Less hoops to jump through.
Dude: I don't want to pay the high interest rates. Plus, that would involve divulging business information I don't want to let the Indian government know. Hence, I want to get a US based loan.

Me: You do realize we're tougher than you guys, right? Getting a loan, of any amount, isn't an easy feet. Trust me.

Dude: Whatever. Would you like to put some in?

Me: sorry bro, I'm not in a position to do so at the moment. But, if you could send me some pitch documents, I'll see what I can do.

Dude: Right! I'll DHL them once they are ready. Still working on them.

Me: Just email them. It's easier.

End of call. I called up my banker and told him what happened. We laughed for 10 minutes.
