Only slightly exaggerating when saying I've had 2 days of non-rain so far this year. There may have been 3.

50F and sunny. High is forecasted at 55. Might get some rain later today. I've had enough rain for now. The soil needs to dry up some (can't believe I'm saying that, lol).

Bite your tongue!!!

It was 39 this morning, 53 now. Bracing when walked out the building, comfortable as I was in the office, looking out at the nice sunshine, leaving jacket on the hook.

My contractor just finished opening my laneway. We had a fair dump and more on the way.

A tad chilly but it's nice to see the sun. Another messy system on the way for tomorrow.

A few inches of heavy, wet snow fell this morning, and it looks like we're in for more weather in the next few days.

Supposed to be getting wind tonight and tomorrow. Hope the soil has dried up enough. Don't want to lose our pine tree that I wrote about earlier. Had it thinned out a little last Nov to help protect it during our windy seasons.

Working from home today. Already 20cm on the ground and another forecasted 30cm during the day. Talii is happy. Name: dogdance.gif

My contractor was in earlier to open the center of my laneway and clear the snow bank at the entrance made by the plow in case I have to leave in a hurry. He'll be back later to finish-up. I think we'll have a good snow base to go out in the trails with snowshoes.

Not getting any warmer at 2-3C now with frost at night and it's likely to continue into February like this so bang goes my cycling time.

We'll see if it pans out this time. Last big storm warning was a dud. We got an inch or two. This one looks more ominous.

Same, the weather people haven't very precise this year. It looks like ours will hit Wednesday afternoon with 4-6". Nothing the 2 series can't handle.

It snowed for 36 hours and we got about 2 feet but it's the wind that made a real mess creating some hard pack snow drifts. My contractor started at 3am with the clean-up.

Beautiful sunny day. High is forecasted at 65F. Rest of the week is going to be sunny and at about the same temp. Some rain is forecasted for next Sunday and Monday.

Talii makes this picture stand out even more!

All that snow reminds me of the biggest storms we experienced in New Hampshire, with snow stuck to the sides of the house and some really big and deep drifts. Those storms were fun for a number of years, but at this age I don't miss them. A big storm here is 8", and I'm lovin' it.
