Yeah, as a Dutchman and our country's queen from Argentina, I never thought I 'd say this: GO NEIGHBOURS! GO GERMANY!

Football fans in North Korea 'told their team will play Portugal in World Cup final'
It is a country known for being a bit fanciful with the truth.

However, even by North Korea’s standards, this news report seems quite remarkable.

This video appears to show the secretive country's state controlled media telling football fans that its national team has reached the World Cup final.

And, as reported by Metro, the report states the team has done so in style by beating Japan 7-0, USA 4-0 and China 2-0.

Most of us with settle down tomorrow night to watch a hopefully entertaining final between Germany and Argentina.

But according to this TV report, North Korea will instead take on Portugal. That would be quite remarkable when you consider that North Korea didn't even qualify for the tournament.

The video shows highlights from old matches and even shows leader Kim Jong-un appearing on a screen in one of Brazil's fan zones, much to the delight of a cheering crowd.

However, North Korea expert are convinced the video is a FAKE.

One said: "It looks like somebody has edited together random bits of news archive."

Germany was great and deserved to win today but whether they were the best team at the tourney, not sure. I think if Colombia hadn't given Brazil unnecessary respect, we would be saying something different for a change.

90 minutes of game play... not a single point and no stars come out and make any serious moves. All this on the biggest soccer stage... I am not surprised the US doesn't take this sport seriously.

humidity CAN and WILL make athletes shrivel into tiny piles of shit....

why do you think Houston has TWO enclosed stadiums...you won't see the Texans or the Astros play outdoors (unless it's in October), but you WILL see the Diamondbacks and Cardinals play outside, because it's much easier to play in 108 degrees and 8% humidity than it is 98-99 with 50% humidity.....

p.s.
right now in Houston it's 89 degrees with 79% humidity - it's only 10am...
You do realize that Phx has TWO enclosed stadiums as well, right? People were freaking out because you were being stupid and putting your health in jeopardy.

One of the best WC's ever played. I'm so depressed it's over. But, the good thing is that the club season starts in a month!
