Barbell presses are easy....but when you get above the 75's for seated dumbbell presses and as short as I am....it's a struggle!

Once I get them up, I'm good to go. I remember seeing ads years ago about dumbbell holders that attached to a barbell. You placed the dumbbells into the holders, then set down and were good to go.

Wonder if they still make them?
I would think shorter would be easier to get those bitches in position! I'm 5' 10", so not that tall, and I feel like i have a mile between my knees and correct position once I get above 75s (I'm not repping them 15x though haha more like ocho amigo). Kick those bad bois in position and bang them out, if I see some brotato with dumbbell hangers I'll be half pissed off lmao.

My problem is that from my knees to my shoulders isn't a large distance. So I've been swinging them from my sides up.

Now something like an incline db bench....i have enough room to get the big ones up!

I get most of my stuff from Muscle Feast. He's in Ohio I think, but has had a cult following for years.

Everything grass fed and finished from isolate to casein.

Cleanest stuff I've ever used.

I've tried that once I think. Training partner mixed me up some. All of the pre-workouts have some crazy names.

He didn't realize how sensitive I am to stimulants. That stuff jacked me the fu@k up.

I had jitters all day and thought I was dying...lol. I didn't sleep any that night.

I had tried once before with some stuff called Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.......that was when I found out I couldn't do stimulants.

He has a lot of good stuff. I've used almost everything at least once.

My favorites are the Hydrolyzed Isolate as it's already broken down so far that it's absorbed into the small intestines.....so it's the quickest protein synthesis you can get. Perfect for after workout.

Then his other stuff such as the grass fed isolate. He even has meal replacement shakes in the perfect ratios just in case you can't get a meal in although I prefer whole food when possible!

Wrong technique, not warming up, trying to go too heavy. People forget the function of the chest is to bring your arms in front of your body.

But there are a lot of supporting muscles/tendons that aide in that process. That's why it's so good to make sure your whole shoulder girdle is limber.

I should've taken a 1/2 scoop.

Sometimes taking a whole week off is good. Usually I notice that when I'm on vacation and when I get back to the gym I feel revitalized

Taking today off. The lack of sleep catches up with me after 3-4 days. Gym workouts are productive (last night was legs and I can barely walk today) but it's the workout I get once I'm home that seriously wears me out. Gotta get both of them in though!

I started with one scoop about 30 minutes before the gym. Then I replaced coffee with it. Then I started drinking it in the afternoon post-lunch. Now I'm at 4 scoops a day. I can't really imagine any more than 4. I'd be ready to start body slamming people at work.

Life blocked my gym work for about a week, but ran/soccer/tree trimming. Last night I had a swing shift so a little over 45 minutes to SLAM back/bi. Haven't curled that much in a very long time!

NOBODY TOLD ME IT WAS TUESDAY!!!!! Now what am I supposed to do with no grip today?????

I took this morning off as my left elbow is still a little tender. Got an appointment Friday with a PT to have my Elbow adjusted, some "Graston" work done on my bicep/tricep tendons....and just massage in general.

The pain doesn't really affect my workout that much, but I want to "nix" it before it does blow into something more.

My de-load workout this week had me doing bench at 5 reps of 275, so those don't hurt at all.

Once I get in the 3 plate range and higher during my progression weeks...that's when I start to feel it acting up and am aware that something is up.

Plus I am starting to put on more fat than I like. Since my daughter is getting married next month, I got fitted for my Tux last month. Usually by now I am starting to cut down for summer, but I can't right now or it won't fit.

I was at 207lbs this morning, and looking "smoother" than I have in quite awhile. That frustrates me!
