Canon 500mm f4 - $6,000
Canon 1.4TC - $300
So about $6,300 total.

On a 7D, that would give him an effective focal length of 1120mm at f5.6.

I suggest getting turning down your iso on your night shots and using a longer exposure. OR get a faster lens like F/1.8. Those are a bit grainy

Thanks, M_Six and UdubBadger! Seems a little dark to me, but then again it is night time and I ducked behind a barrier wall on the bridge to get the shot. lol

Thanks! Yes, sir. All my pix are handheld.

I love my 10-22mm, but would love something faster than f3.5. I've been debatig the 16-35mm f2.8L since I'll likely step up to a full frame camera sometime within the next couple of years.

BTW, love the first and fourth pix you posted above.
