Could never live in a very hot climate or where it's very cold with snow a lot of the time so weather wise I'll stick with the devil I know here

Freezing rain in the forecast -- that's the worst. Give me snow every time. With freezing rain, we lost electrical power for two weeks in 2021 -- extensive downed lines and power poles snapped in two etc. The only time in my life I have -- against everything I have ever heard -- driven over downed power lines; we were trapped by downed lines in both directions on our road. Hopefully this freezing rain event will be brief!

South Florida is in it's cool season. We are supposed to see high 40's low 50's for Christmas. Might actually have to turn on the heat this year!!! It's hilarious because people dress like they are in the arctic when it's in the 60's!!!!

All aboard the snowstorm hype train!

My weather radar app is showing warnings in almost every county west of here. We're still expecting rain today and a flash freeze during the rain/snowfall in the AM tomorrow. It's supposed to drop 14 degrees in a couple hours.

The wind has quit and it has warmed up to - 33.2 C and without doubt Santa will be able to land his sled in lots of snow. This is - 27.7 F for my US friends. Xmas day should warm up considerably and outside activities should return to normal.

When I work up this morning in Excelsior, MN, my weather app said it was -7 Fahrenheit, feels like -33. But hey, it's a dry cold. Cleared the driveway yesterday of about 4 inches of snow. Woke up today and had to clear another 3 to 4 inches.

We have a decent sledding hill on the side of our house into the backyard. Was able to do my annual snowblow some of the yard into a large pronounced pile on top of the sledding hill to give my boys a higher launch point to shred. Nearly froze to death but so worth it!
