They are Tule elk. I was out at the Tule elk reserve at Tomales Point in the Golden Gate National Rec area after work yesterday, and snapped a bunch. I missed the rut this year, but it was still cool to see the herd against the backdrop of the ocean. It's a pretty spectacular sight.

The reeds and reflection makes for an interesting picture, especially how they are circular around them.

Thanks! Shot straight up through the sunroof of my van while driving through the wildlife refuge. That was with the 5d3 and the 100-400 zoom. I'm renting a 500mm from Lensrentals and going back on Veterans Day weekend, and hope to get some cool shots.
