I am in CA, where the barrier to entry for concealed carry is substantial, and greater then most places. When I (finally) got my permit, I felt under trained/prepared, and i had taken more training then most. I got more, and practiced ‘dry’ at home. Those who know will say you can never have too much training, I say you can never have enough. |

Amen. Compared to a 9mm the 10 has a lot of recoil. Actually muzzle flip might be a more accurate way to describe it. Last edited by zentanker; 03-15-2019 at 08:12 AM.. |

Just picked up this little baby tonight brand new. I've always wanted one, but wasn't really sure what I would do with it other than have some fun? I have my Benelli M4 for home defense along with assorted rifles of course for long range practice, so this one is just going to be a range queen for fun. Anyway it's obviously a Kriss Vector .45 enhanced, and I also purchased a couple extended mags that hold 25 rounds each. I didn't get a chance to fire it today as the range was closing, but will definitely get there sometime this weekend to try out! I just put an inexpensive Holosun sight on it for now, $175 gets it done for the time being there.

I think the Vector, Scorpion, and MPX are perfect "small house (like 1500 sq ft) I am awake home defence guns" Everyone loves their AR builds, but in a shit hit the fan someone is a danger in your house and you go to your weapon, clearing hallways and rooms with those three would be so much easier/better. And, yes. It is a cool range gun too. |

Did they teach him how to shoot while riding a horse? Because that's in JW 3...

Will get the carbine one due to the local gun laws, plus the m4 stock fits me better. |

Thanks! Just got back from the range after putting exactly 200 rounds through it. WOW, what a firearm. It's like shooting a BB gun, zero recoil which is incredible for a .45. It made a poor shot like me look competent, I was putting everything in a tight circle at 25 yards with iron sights (I dumped the optic, I liked shooting with the flip up sights much better). Let several people shoot it as well, because as expected it drew a lot of attention. It performed flawlessly, first 200 went off without a hitch. I can't wait to clean it and take it back tomorrow, it was definitely worth the money. I hope you can get one of your own soon!

I really like the 26 and used to carry it but then I go the HK VP9SK and has been my favorite so far. Love it. Thinking of getting another one as backup.

Some guys carried plain clothes holster that had a strap and there some that were level two, the Glock holster I have only uses friction and a small clip on the trigger guard if I recall. A little tug and it's out. You could run with it, but I wouldn't want to fight with it on and really no good for handgun retention.

You can learn on YouTube but without feedback you miss major things that could save your life I used to put 1000+ rounds down range per month. Now lucky if I do that per year |

The main thing is to get out of Dodge of you can and your life or someone else's must must be in immediate danger (not just threat) of serious injury or death. And make sure there is no one between you and the threat and if you miss..no one behind the threat. When you are in a restaurant or sitting in a public place. Think of "what if" If you practice that it becomes "natural" Not saying you need to be paranoid. But if you have taken the very huge step to carry you better think of what iffs. Good luck |

If someone brandishes a weapon, in a threatening manner (points it at you)... and you become scared in the process...
You are allowed to empty your clip into their chest, correct? Asking for a friend. |

you are allowed to stop the threat, and do what a reasonable person would do that may mean a mag dump into the perps chest, or drawing your weapon and shouting commands at the guy if he is already pointing a gun at you you should probably run |

Today a package was waiting on my doorstep from midway. I got a Springfield Armory unitized gas system for my M1A. Used on the National Match M1A's/M14's to tighten groups for Camp Perry long range competitions.
I'm going to install it this week and looking forward to getting the the range. Chomping at the bit here. Been a couple months since I've been to my outdoor range.
