I didn’t watch it with any voice dumbing. The UK Netflix settings default to subtitles, rather than dubbing. I agree with you that dubbing is horrible.
With regards the series, I am in disagreement… but no worries … there is a ton of great stuff out there for all tastes

I'm late to the party on this one, but have been enjoying The Handmaid's Tale Season One.

I like Homeland and finally got a chance to see Prisoners of War that was the Israeli original. Found that to be a disappointment. I watched a little bit of Tyrant, from the same Creator, and thought that was okay.

So was searching through IMDB yesterday and got myself and the wife all excited. Has anyone ever watched Sex Education on Netflix?? It's a fantastically hilarious, well-written, raunchy show (NSFW at all) about teens in High School in Britain.

We stumbled across it during COVID and binged the 1st 2 seasons. Season 3 was just released today. We're excited to sit down tonight and watch as much as we can!

Dexter looks half decent, not sure we have it yet though. Not a huge fan of his "sister" but whatever, will be better than most shows i suppose.

Oh man I just watched the old Comedy Central Roast of William Shatner. To this day I think that is by far the funniest roast ever. I laughed just as hard as I did the first time I watched it back around 2006.

It was also a bit eerie because some of the guests included Carrie Fisher and Farrah Fawcett.

So many great cameo appearances too.

I watched it on Paramount+ (paramountplus.com) which requires you to have a subscription. I coincidentally just signed up for this service due to coverage of Champions League soccer matches and discovered there is a lot of other nice content on this streaming channel. I guess Comedy Central falls under this umbrella which I didn't know. Also a ton of movies that are under Paramount studios including A Quiet Place Part II which I plan to watch. Says it's a Paramount+ exclusive.

we usually try to keep it to no more than two concurrent shows. ideally one show is an hour-long drama and the second is a 30-minute comedy to break things up.

Squid Game is worth starting at some point. Watched another episode last night and I’m really enjoying the storyline.

I’m the same way with not finishing shows. I still haven’t completed Sons of Anarchy and Breaking Bad.
