We watched being the Ricardo's last night. I really enjoyed that. Although Nicole Kidman has had some bad plastic surgery, she really had the voice and mannerisms of Lucille Ball down. And it was quite funny.

Getting ready for the summer's blockbuster Jurassic World Dominion. Gotta rewatch all the good and bad old ones with my kid.

I watched "A Broken Rose" and the first ten minutes of "No Witnesses"…..both were Amazon movies I believe. The former had potential and I was able to stomach the movie, but the latter I just couldn't do it. Both had poor dialogue and blah cinematography. I kept asking myself, "Who the hell wrote this/these script(s)?!!"

What did you guys think about the movie?
I fell asleep around 45 minutes in, but I think it was because I was already tired. I remember the visuals were pretty good. Gonna try to finish the rest either tonight or this weekend. |

I liked it, the first act takes a bit of time, but it does pick up around act two and three. Cate Blanchette and Rooney Mara are always excellent, and Bradley Cooper also delivers a great performance. I always love movies and shows that are set up in the 20's-60's, always makes for interesting settings and beautiful set design.

Wife and I are planning on trying to watch the King's Man sometime this weekend since it's out on Hulu. We found the Kingsman movies to be pretty entertaining

Cyrano was great! One of the most beautifully told story and acting I have seen in a while. Settings were beautiful. Looked it up and it was in Italy.

Aquaman. With Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Nicole Kidman and Dolph Lundgren. Did not see this title in the thread surprisingly. It's what I expected. A big dumb action movie with some cool moments and special effects, and also some dumb moments and silly plot points. I didn't know Kidman and Lundgren were in the movie and that was a shocker. I didn't even recognize Lundgren.

Finally got around to watching the last installment of Daniel Craig as 007. While he is one of my favorite Bonds (right behind Connery), I liked this film the least. Entertaining, yes, but with a plot that was jumbled and seemingly just thrown together and lacked cohesion. |
