Meet Hank. He's not our pet. My wife saw a Facebook plea for help from his owners who needed to travel to Hawaii for a family emergency and their dog sitter bailed on them. Being a softie my wife volunteered us without asking questions. He's a super sweet dog and we really like him but……..

It turns out Hank is 10 months old, not neutered, and not house trained. He constantly is trying to hump our 2 female dogs. We also have to keep him in a diaper at all times otherwise he pees on anything in sight. When he gets excited he pees. When he gets scared he pees. When you pick him up he pees. The diaper is great for containing the pee but only covers his boy bits. His ass is totally exposed. He recently discovered it's fun to shit under the Christmas tree.

He took a dump in my home office today while I was on a Teams meeting interviewing a potential new hire. What can you do?! it's not like I could turn my camera and mic off and take care of it. Not like I could say "Sorry, your employement history is super interesting but there's a steaming pile of dog shit on the carpet next to me that I need to tend to. Hold please..."

I just took my recently adopted kitty in today to get spayed. Poor thing needs to recover over the next few days. Seems okay though, a bit wobbly when attempting to walk when I got her home due to the drugs.

I think they'll come back for their dog. They could've dumped him at the animal shelter if they wanted.

That costs money. Pets are abandoned all the time around here, because pet owners cannot afford to pay the fees that shelters want for taking their unwanted pets in.....

it was a funny joke/idea that was posed. But yeah, 100% they are coming back. They text me every day to ask how he's doing and I share pictures with them. They are obsessed with this dog. I get it; same way I am with Bella.

I caught Hank this morning peeing on the comforter that was hanging off the edge of our bed. My wife accidentally left the bedroom door open for maybe 20 seconds and he was in there like a little piss ninja. Luckily he was diapered and it caught it all. To whomever invented dog diapers

Didn't know that. Just looked it up for my city and it costs $40 for a dog and $30 for a cat. That's discouraging.

The only time I took an animal to the shelter was about 2008 when a homeless cat had babies in my backyard, and we didn't pay anything.
