Exactly my friend ..

It's really nice to see the McLaren's back in the front battles ..
But It's for sure , they found new and more power !
And RIC struggled the whole season with the car , but today (suddenly) his car fitted like a glove ...
If MAX and HAM didn't crashed , they didn't had a chance vs McLaren !
The McLaren's looked super-fast and super-planted on track..

Anyway ,the whole situation looks (suddenly) very promising for McLaren .

I think they’re just much faster in low down force tracks. He was fast in Spa.

Spa wasn't a parameter in the extreme wet conditions . And wet requires high downforce levels.
There was no race at Francorchamps ...2 laps behind the PC isn't racing..

Max disagrees with the penalty and believes he was racing fair and square with Ham who was just barging through turning into Max hoping for the best knowing (as he should) that the high kerb would have consequences for him. Obviously Dramilton shut the brain off to that one Coulthard concluded this should be a racing incident.

I had the pleasure of talking to someone who has a very long history of Motorsport stewardship in Sebring and Daytona. He explained to me why every steward would’ve said Max was in the wrong today. They basically look at T1 completely separate from T2 although they’re separated by a very short distance. He said that Max was approaching T2 at a much higher speed than Lewis and he put his car on the inside with no room for him and almost solely relied on Hamilton to avoid the accident. There was one way out of it and that was for Max to steer left. Lewis couldn’t have steered more right because he’s at full lock and there’s nothing else he can do.

Neither driver is going to give an inch, so far they are only taking each other out. It's costing them points but they are so far ahead it doesn't matter. It's too bad 3rd place wasn't closer (driver and constructors), that would make it interesting.

Some of the stewards are older GP drivers whose cars were completely different in their time, in fact an expert poster on here commented earlier that Brundle,an ex F1 driver, was putting the blame round aboutly on Ham for an avoidable accident.

The guy I’m talking about is my dad’s friend so he’s old yes. Brundle blamed Hamilton yes. But It’s not the forest time Max leaves the decision to his opponent while at the same time putting them in a very critical position. I’m no expert but I can see how Hamilton couldn’t have avoided it while Max had some power to avoid it.

According MAX :

Ran on the outside in T1 . But HAM was going extremely wide to the left with me on the left along him in T1 !
Where do you want then that I could go ....

I see it as Silverstone part 2 . Same situation at Silverstone in the Copse turn with HAM going too wide to the left with MAX along him on the left ..
At Copse MAX lost it . Today both lost it ...But MAX got a 3 P penalty !
HAM would have the same penalty for going too wide like at Silverstone !

HAM just said his neck hurts badly ,MAX got 51 G at Copse and was 10 days covered in bruises , in the hospital they saw he got a concussion !

As you can see ...HAM was very lucky today , but it was his own fault !

Ham ''knew'' or should have known that Max couldn't go over the sausage kerb without drama and a 7 times champ should see it his mirrors what was coming.
Max couldn't turn into the sausage kerb for all the tea in China..

I do expect them to race smarter in the future. But I do expect tensions to remain high, and each race there will always be someone more willing to take risks than the other.

I think at Silverstone HAM knew that he had to get ahead of VER given how the redbull just walked away with it at the sprint. HAM really was not backing down at home and in a way was desperate for the win, especially with being back in the points by quite a bit. In his mind he had to make that move then and there or VER was walking away with it again.

Today I feel like VER was frustrated with having to follow RIC, then frustrated by the long pit, and frustrated HAM then was right there at turn 1. I think his frustration culminated in a "no f's given" moment where he clearly risked a lot going for it at that moment in turn 2. I think VER in this moment felt like HAM at Silverstone, and just had to go for it, a judgement call clouded by his frustration.

In the end I feel like both were racing incidents. HAM a bit more to blame previously and VER a bit more today.

Of course like I said to msk340i he ''could see'' it coming yet instead of acting Ham closed his eyes and hoped for the best and of course Mercafia is always going to favour MIB also stuffing Checo moving Merc's Bot and someone else each one place up ahead of him.

Car 33 “ predominantly to blame” ? That’s not only predominantly BS. It’s 110% dominant BS. Let’s hope the Stewards don’t ruin the most exciting season in years
