i now read somewhere that if every car had passed sector 1 and registered a time then they will restart based on the positions at sector 1, presumably the same with sector 2.

it's always the same, even with the smaller older cars there was no overtaking, hence i didn't watch it.

also i thought Ferrari would mess up somewhere but good on Charles they didn't

I think it was Ocon who went airborne with the crazy move and DNF'd smashing the rear down , with Canada I would replace him with the back up driver for the mayhem he has caused ruining Gasly's race. GAS is the better driver and OCO is doing his best to sideline him so it's time he went.

Roll on Montreal! One the best race tracks for fans where they won't be ripped off. I heard the ticket prices are reasonable too and beef burgers there won't cost anywhere near US $150

That was a fun watch. Ferrari is now only 24 points down on Red Bull. Mclaren looks properly quick. I'm not so convinced Red Bull has this in the bag anymore, the next handful of races should be very telling.

Speaking of Montreal, I paid $120 (Canadian) in 2019 for a three day pass with seats in the grandstand at Turn 5. Can't beat that at all... especially when I see how much the stupid Dutch GP charges and how limited the tickets are.

For sure but it's the risk they take for a living to get their magazine/internet shots.
If I were Checo I'd consider a hot shot lawyer to take this further with the stewards' ridiculous no action over this.

We are not experts on the intricacies of the RB20 my friend but this just doesn't add up completely with the wins before, lets see what happens at Montreal, with Newey departing the racing department this is looking like Wache going in a Merc direction and sure there's something wrong if it continues at Montreal. The correlation may have been a software glitch.
