I just watched TUF the other night and thought it was good value. I really enjoyed the fight and GSP's tactic was a winner in and out the cage. Koschek got punked.
I'm not overly excited for this fight card today. The next main fight card I'm excited about is Lesnar and then the Machida card at 123. I'll still watch the fights today but I don't think Mirr or Cro Cop are at the top of the division at the moment. I think Bader will beat Nog too. These next 2 cards are pretty standard, makes me realise how lucky I was to see UFC 110 in Sydney which I thought was pretty decent at the time. I always end up eating my own words though because the fighters end up putting on some great fights and I appreciate and respect what goes into the sport |

This was one of the most boring cards in a while, its sad when most of the best fights were in the prelims. The only fight I enjoyed was the Lytle vs Serra, although the Bader fight was also pretty decent. I was also pissed at how Dunham got robbed but thats why you never leave it up to the judges. I was shocked at what looked like the best fight, ended up being a pretty boring fight and Guillard pulling off a fairly unimpressive win.
The Mir Cro Cop fight was another snooser, till the last few min of the 3rd round. Never in my wildest dream did I think it would go that far Looking forward to UFC 120, Condit vs Hardy will not dissapoint! |

The Mir and CroCop matchup was just a bad matchup in general which resulted in a boring fight. CroCop was constantly worried about the threat of a takedown if he threw a kick so he didn't throw hardly any. Frank was worried about a devastating kick and kept working to take CroCop down. But Frank's wrestling is not his strong point obviously and he couldn't get CroCop to the ground.
Anyway, lame fight. I think CroCop needs to go back to the real world. I don't know why he still bothers with MMA. He doesn't have the time or the resources to compete at the level he wants to. I was, however, very interested in the Lil'Nog vs Bader fight. It wasn't super exciting but it was a huge test for Bader. Lil'Nog had been on a rampage. I think Bader is definitely worthy of challenging just about anyone at 205 at this point (granted he can still improve a lot). Hard to go wrong with outstanding wrestling and a sledgehammer for a right hand.

Now that would be an exciting matchup! I would like to see a little more of Jones but no one has hardly touched him, so we don't know how good he really is. All I've seen is him destroying people so I don't know how he would respond when he ends up on the other side of the stick...

First of all, Chael Sonnen really made himself look like an idiot in that video. Just give some respect!
Second... last night TUF. I do have to give Michael Johnson credit for finishing the fight in the 3rd round, but to tell the truth, I wasnt really impressed! As they said last night, Brits arent exactly known for their wrestling, so Josh told his guy not to try and wrestle. All in all I think he might have won the wrestling portion of the fight, so that kinda makes me second guess Johnsons abilities. Like I said, I do have to give him credit for coming out strong in the third, the took some heart to step it up like that. And Sissaouri (Canadian Wrestler) was hilarious. GSP's team was in awe of how easily he was taking them all down. He was really good though, lost to the American, Kendall Cross, in the 1996 Olympic Finals.

I agree but I dont think the hype about Johnson was his ability, rather how fast and agile he is. Think he is more of a prospect than anything. And it showed last night, he couldnt do anything of his back. But man, he came out so strong in that third round, by the end of the 2nd it looked like they were both done. Dont know where that boost of energy came out of, maybe Tyson inspired him

Johnson is bad at getting his hooks in. His takedowns are not bad, mostly athletic ability. His timing is better than average (for TUF) but his takedown defense was pretty subpar. He did have better TD defense in the 2nd round.
His Jiujitsu definitely needs work. However already mentioned, he has the tools and is definitely a prospect.

Definitely agree... He probably has the athletic ability he needs, he is just alittle raw. Before the fight, Johnson said that he had been trying to get on the show for awhile but got turned down a couple times. I can see him making a lot of progress while on the show, so we'll see.

I think so too but Roy did survive against Dos Santos and his boxing is pretty good. Gonzaga was doing pretty good against Carwin till he made a mistake a tasted some of Carwins power. So he may have a small chance, just saying. I didnt think he would survive 1 round against Dos Santos and dont think many did people saw it going to a decision
He's recovering from knee surgery so we'll see if the fight even happens |

Roy v Carwin is a very bad matchup for Roy, he will get owned. I think Carwin and Lesnar are the 2 top guys in the HW and they are in their own league. Cain and Velasquez are great fighters but Lesnar and Carwin are just too big. My prediction for Roy is he will get KO in 1st round. He will want to send a clear message for a rematch. |

I cant wait for this sat, Carlos Condit is one of my fav fighters and the guy just doesnt have a boring fight period. This has to be his toughest match up so far in his career. Not only cause Hardy has monster power but Condit will sometimes take two, just to give one. Not the best strategy against someone so powerful so I hope he changes up his style for this fight, he does have a good chin though. its def gonna be one of the better fight we've seen in a while. This one will not dissapoint
