in the US, they are just regular LED headlights with cornering lights.... real adaptive headlights are only offered on more expensive BMW SUVs.

Even my 2016 GTI had lights that move with the steering. Unfortunately, adaptive headlights are not available here in Canada either. I noticed that it was part of the technology package in the UK.

The other feature that I wish we could get here is the rear camera washer. They are very much necessary for Canadian winters.

My '14 3-Series had it with the HID headlights, but I thought for the LCI F30 and the G20, they were not standard with LED lighting. I don't even see any lighting pkg currently available for the 330--I know there used to be some type of lighting option for the G20.

I found a video from Sweden where he walks through all of the features of the X1/iX1. A few of them we can’t get here

For some reason we don’t get the hooks for the cargo net here. At least I did not see it in the demo vehicle I test drove

that's an easy one...

we are not Europeans, so we rarely get all the good stuff.

on the other hand, we really shouldn't complain. we have really cheap car prices compared to other countries. not to mention that our gas prices area extremely low, compared to Germany and the rest of Europe!(where they pay US$7 or more per U.S. gallon)

Agreed...$110k for my '20 x3mc and the new X1 was $60k (taxes incl)...AND...the government currently in power instituted a 10% luxury tax on vehicles over $100k...on top of our existing 13% tax...so yeah, you've got it pretty good

Did you negotiate a significant amount off of MSRP? I added every available option to the M Sport that I ordered and MSRP with freight & PDI was almost $63,000 (before taxes). The spec below plus driving assist pro and active seats with lumbar.

Not significant but discount all the same plus $1,000 loyalty discount. Plus $750 cash discount ....still $60k after taxes

Interesting fact - here in my country, we don't have 360 camera, just the rear one.

Yes, it possible but this is time-consuming and transporting car from one country to another is expensive.
