Home court advantage is a very big deal and for those of you who played ball, you know that. This is the court they practice on. The know every inch of that court, how the lights affect their shot, every angle etc.

People like to overanalyze but look at any box score and look at the shooting percentages and that will tell you who won, most of the time. Teams shoot well at home. I hated to see all the knee-jerking after only two games of a 7 game series. The Cavs are really good at home and have been all playoffs.

There's no logical reason for outcomes in any of these games. Clearly each game is not related to another.

The first 2 games were absolute stompings when all was said and done, so I think those are related.
I'll still be here if Cleveland wins another, don't you worry! Looks like Kevin Love should head elsewhere though, as RJ has found the fountain of youth!

my point is, there's no logic or predictability to these games anymore. In game 1 people were saying how the W's bench was so terrific. But where was this bench in game 3 when Curry laid another egg?

Each game is unrelated to the prior. Both teams tend to just "quit" when the lead is over 20 points and the key players are not scoring or are having a terrible game.

It's the Greg Popovich mentality. Live to fight another day. Win the game that counts the most, don't get your starters tired or injured in games they are clearly not playing well in.

Midway through the 3rd quarter of game 3, I can already see the W's quit already. They just need to win game 4 and/or 5 at that point, why play hard in game 3 and lose by 10 when a loss is a loss?

Same deal with the Cavs in game 2. They quit by the 3rd quarter when they couldn't trim the lead down to 10 points. They basically relented to knowing they have to win at home. If they do, the series resets again.

Game 1 was the only competitive game. Both teams traded leads in the 3rd quarter, but then same thing happened, W's went up 15-20 points, then Cavs quit, b/c they knew they still had game 2 to try to steal one.

Don't worry fellow GSW fans. We lost on purpose just to go along with the play. Commissioner Adam Silver simply wants the series to go on longer so the NBA can generate more income, nothing to be upset about for yesterday's performance. Some of the easy shots Steph missed yesterday seemed intentional.
