yeah, I can understand that. My first job out of school was in sales (6 years of engineering school to go into sales, my dad was thrilled) and I had the same issue. You try to help people, but they treat you like crap.

The flip side of the issue is customer service in this country FU**ING BLOWS, and companies are charging more and more for stuff and giving you less and less.

Not to say customers should treat you like crap, but too often companies treat customers like crap.

yeah, it is a catch-22. Customers want to drive all the possible costs out of the bids, but want the same level of service they had when they paid twice as much. Businesses want all the cost out of the business operations, but still attempt to deliver *outstanding customer service*. Every time I see that I want to

I'm a branch service manager, and while we do our best, and our customers generally rate us as better than any other provider they've had.....well, everyone wants something for nothing.
