You Americans are strange folks sometimes...the amount of added taxes to put a stock on...weird. But you certainly get to shoot stuff that is more fun than we can, I'll give you that.

Two questions:
1. Isn't that a pistol grip?
2. You won't shoot more than 2 and 3/4 for the sake of your wrists, or the gun isn't chambered to accept anything larger than 2 and 3/4 and so you can't? Just not sure which one you meant.

Two questions:
1. Isn't that a pistol grip?
Nope, the Shockwave has a birds-head grip, which is how it circumvents our crazy NFA regulations and is not classified as a shotgun but rather as a "firearm" (yes, I know, it's completely silly).

And this is a pistol grip:

No that isn't a pistol grip and the gun wont accept lager shells as far as I know.

It's a little more complex than that. A 3 judge committee from the 9th Circuit Court did indeed say that, in fact, here's what they said:

Quote:
“We do not take lightly the problem of gun violence,” Judge Diarmuid O’Scannlain wrote in Tuesday’s ruling. “But, for better or for worse, the Second Amendment does protect a right to carry a firearm in public for self-defense.”
But there are a couple of things that can happen. The whole 9th Circt Court can decide to take the case 'en-banc' and rule on it, and odds are, they will change the ruling, based on the 9th Circuit Court's track record on gun rights and the 2A. Or, they can decide to let it die. The state in which this was filed, Hawaii, can try and appeal, and it would again go en-banc to the entire 9th Circuit Court, which would, again rule against the right.

This new ruling would then apply to the entire area the 9th covers (Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, CA, Montana, and a few others). It would probably get appealed to the Supreme Court, and the way the court is right now, especially if Kavanaugh gets confirmed, they would decide to take the case, and likely rule in favor of the right to bear arms (as they should).

Strategically, though, this would be a bad move for Hawaii to take it any further than it is, because right now, the ruling only applies to Hawaii. This could be the case that confirms the right to bear arms in the entire US, which many states (CA, NY, CT, NJ, I'm looking at you!).

I know which way I am hoping for, but it's quite a bit more nuanced than it seems at first.

Pistol grip + 3" magnum slugs = about 3 shots before I switch to something else. But for home defense, probably wouldn't have to fire the second one anyways. . . if just the slide noise didn't send them running

My Shockwave will shoot 2 3/4 and 3".

It's also fun to shoot the Minishells. Here's a mini next to a 2 3/4"

If I remember correctly, it can hold 10 minis with the extender.

With my shockwave i'm limited to 2 3/4" because of the magazine, unless I want to load by hand. The mag fed receiver is from Black Aces Tactical and the cerakoting and stippling was done by High Voltage Customs (my old college professor). Its more show then function but its awesome to shoot and not bad to have around the house either. Overall i'm happy with how it turned out.

Actually the rail on the bottom hasn't been an issue but the rail on the upper left side had to be taken off because it almost gouged my buddies thumb off. The forend originally had a magpul angled foregrip but it was to hard to keep control of so it got replaced by a strap off an old set of lineman gaffs.

What semi-auto shotgun should I buy? Used Saiga 12s have gotten stupid expensive.

Looking for a "tactical" type, not a long barrel hunting gun.

Couldn’t ask for a better endorsement.

Keep it clean and a 930 will run like a Swiss watch.

Bought a new toy today, Galil ACE .308 "pistol". Pretty ridiculous these aren't considered true SBRs, but I'm taking no chances so got the paperwork going same day for SBR classification (should take 3-5 months). I've wanted one for some time but finally found a nice deal on a brand new one. Will try out tomorrow, curious to see how a C-More red dot does on it.

Yeah as a gun lover, I am wish listing parts and its like so this stock is an SBR requires a stamp, $$$, etc. but this brace looks like a stock no stamp and no money.

Makes no sense.
