Glad to see the endless supply of laughs thread is still going strong.

Just saw an e90 328i a few days ago only this guy not only had M3 on the back he also cleverly pasted M3 on the wood trim on the inside as well lol. The badge envy, or better yet stupidity of some people is hilarious.

I almost want to pull my M3 badge off the back and replace it with a legit 320i badge for reverse brain damage.

Crazy thing is BMW is slapping M badges on everything nowadays so how is anyone even going to know what is real anymore?

I don't think he/she cares. The kind of people who do this aren't the brightest of the bunch. That or they bought it that way from a previous owner and don't know the difference.

It's like the people who throw fart cans on their civics/pos cars because they think it sounds good. Or spend $5k on rims for a car that costs $500.

Tasteless taste is tasteless. Doesn't matter if it's on a BMW or any other car. These kind of owners extend into almost every brand.

Doesn't make it any less hilarious to see on a regular basis. We need someone/something for entertainment.

BMW is 100% to blame for some of the saturation. How the hell does an average person know the difference between an actual M, M sport, or cross betweens like the M550i, M240i, X3M40i, and soon to be M340i next gen?

It's badge whoring at it's finest and they know people will pay more for a badge. Oh well, I suppose the BMW marketing team knows more than we do.

Maybe in Spain (with the M badging on non-M X5 models), but I don't think that's the case here in the US. In fact, the M Sport model doesn't even come with different suspension than the base - you get a body kit, exhaust tips, a fat steering wheel, and maybe door sills. Looks better, but in no way is it anything Motorsport. And that Alpha-GC loser in the black X5 doesn't even have the upsized 275/315 wheels, he has the narrow/touring 19s.

I didn't get a chance to snap pics, but this dude decided to park his E46 328i with An M3 badge right next to my E90 M in a virtually empty parking lot. If you're gonna try faking it, why would you decide to park RIGHT NEXT to the real thing. A real SMH moment haha. Pics of my car for reference
