Agree!! These races are brutally boring. It’s a shame to be honest
Graham Hill (WDC 1962 and 1968) and Sir Jackie Stewart (WDC 1969, 1971 and 1973) poking fun at each other like gentlemen do - an era where race sports in death trap cars were way more dangerous than today (cf. fatalaties):

Then why don't the other teams build clever and challenge Verstappen and Perez.

It’s no different then when Mercedes was killing it. It wasn’t as dominant but my god. You watch a race and about the only
Thing they are showing is a battle for 10th🤡🤡. Again, I’m all for a team to be the big dog and others have to get to them. I’m not about the race being over after turn 1 of the first lap. Make a different tire that only last 15 laps/ force some pit stops. Stop midway and make everyone switch cars They have to do something.

Someone suggested bringing back refuelling but then you're hoping that the leader could have a fuel hose connection or fuel flow problem with the associated fire risk.
Coming in for fresh tyres could lead to a problem, a wheel nut could jam or shear or additionally the tyres may simply not be ready.

Problems would be part of it. If the leader has a 20 second pit stop, awesome. Now he has to play catch up. I know it’s not an easy fix but there are smart people in F-1 who need to work on it. I’m just going to keep putting 1000 a race on Max. Easy money

Bearman as impressive as he was has to wait as Haas/Ferrari Komatsu has said Kevin 'Mags won't be replaced for '25.

The idea of a reverse grid has already been discussed, but didn't make it yet.

What are the major drawbacks for qualies + reverse qualies grid for the Sprint (20, 19, ... 2, 1) + normal qualies grid for the race (1, 2, ... 19, 20) ? Increased risk of accidents ? Slower qualifying by backmarkers to get the Sprint pole 'gifted' ?

There was also the idea of a reverse grid for the Q3 drivers (10, 9, ... 2, 1, 11, 12, ... 19, 20) for the Sprint.

But for safety reasons, no old-fashioned Le Mans start:

"The 1969 24 Hours of Le Mans was a motor race staged at the Circuit de la Sarthe, Le Mans, France on 14 and 15 June 1969. It was the 37th Grand Prix of Endurance and was the eighth round of the 1969 International Championship for Makes. The race was open to Group 6 Prototype Sports Cars, Group 4 Sports Cars and Group 3 Grand Touring Cars.
It was the last year with the traditional "Le Mans" style start, in which the drivers run across the track to enter their cars, start them, and race away. The previous year, Willy Mairesse crashed on the first lap while trying to properly close the door of his car at speed on the Mulsanne Straight; the crash would have been avoided entirely if not for the Le Mans-style start, and it ended Mairesse's racing career. During the 1969 start, eventual winner Jacky Ickx famously staged his own one-man protest by walking to his car, and taking his time doing up his belts. Meanwhile, privateer John Woolfe ran with the other drivers, flipped his car on the opening lap near Maison Blanche corner, and not yet strapped in properly, was killed when the car broke up.
The race was one of the most exciting in the event's history. Porsche had already wrapped up the International Championship for Makes, and were strong favourites to achieve their first outright win. More than one-third of the starting cars were Porsches, and the mighty 917s held the lead for 90% of the race. But when the Elford/Attwood car's gearbox broke at 11 a.m., it was the Ford of Ickx and Jackie Oliver that took over the lead. The race ended in a 3-hour sprint, with the Ford battling the pursuing Porsche 908 of Hans Herrmann and Gérard Larrousse non-stop. In the end, the Ford GT40 – the same chassis that had won the previous year – took the chequered flag just 120 metres ahead of the Porsche after 24 hours of racing."

Quoted from some random Fakebook page.

"It's remarkable the ordeal Ollie Bearman endured with his neck, especially on such a demanding circuit. Thankfully, they took precautions and put pads on it."

Check out the left side headrest. If true, deformed from supporting Ollie's head & helmet

Verstappen never used padding (extra neck support, apart from the HANS device) anymore after his very first F3 test:

Bearman? I wouldn’t expect him to have the neck strength quite yet.

Max again just crazy that he never used it in F1.
