i don't think they're anything wrong with enjoying multiple things. to your point though, i am definitely a car enthusiast more than a shoe enthusiast by far. i question that in some of the people in this thread. lol Quote:
i somewhat agree. i think they're just average looking shoes that people buy just for the name. i think they're highly over rated with great marketing.

I'm referring to casually wearing these shoes around town when you're not playing basketball (or some kind of sport). For sport wear, these shoes are totally appropriate. |

I like most Jordan's (not all) for two reasons: The history behind each original colorway shoe and the ROI.
For example, there are various types of Jordan's that retail at $140 back when it came out, but its current value can be anywhere from $400 - $2k+ Jordan has put money in my pocket and I like money in my pocket. I'm also into Balenciaga's |

Here's the sole. They are currently icy but I'm sure will yellow over time. I wear my sneakers and when they start to look bad buy new ones.

Picked up a plain, conservative pair of white pumas (daily wear) for $19.99 the other day. Shoe pricing in general continues to perplex me. I saw several pairs of similar looking shoes (albeit from other brands) for $150, $175+. I don't get it.
Are Jordans really a good, stable investment or is it luck of the draw? |
