Actually this is a good point. Shoes are not a good gift unless you know the brand, style and size she wants. A size 7 in one brand often fits differently from another brand.

This is a good point. While many view it as a cop-out gift, taking her shopping is a good option so long as you make it clear you put some thought into it.

"Let's go to the mall and I'll buy you something."

"I've seen you looking at (things) lately, so I want to take you to (store) so you can pick out a (thing)."

Unless hints have transitioned to THIS EXACT THING (lol), it'll save a lot of guesswork.

By far the biggest sleaze I've met was someone I had to work with. He spread viscous rumors about us women and since I was 17 I had no idea how to handle it. When I heard we had slept together I had enough.

A team mate of mine knew where his fiance lived and I went to tell her what a douche she was dating and what kind of shit is her future husband spewing. I had only a week to go in that job and I have to admit I enjoyed the hate that followed.
