Its a world apart from a tesla 3/y and better build than an s and interior is great has hud and buttons for everything.
My commute to work and back is 26 miles and I can easily do this on electric range
When I have trips of 100 miles the petrol motor is there
I'm very convinced that hybrid is the way to go than all out EV.
GM's Volt was an even better series hybrid. It was introduced to the market 13 years ago as 2011 model.

But i forgot that negates it all when I wake up with a fresh charge each night so it probably costs me 2 bucks a night.

Meanwhile that 2 dollars is for like 1 quart of gas for the rest of you lmaoooooo
LOL. Dude most people on this thread don't think you have an EV either. Me included. You have said for the last 6 months you have a S Plaid "on order", when you could go buy a brand new one available from Tesla's inventory in NJ today. Me and numerous other people pointed out a few months ago that something like 12 were available in or near New Jersey at that time. Since then, your Boy Elon has dropped the S Plaid price twice from $150K now down to $109K, but you still have no S Plaid.

There are several real-world tests that show the Tesla Model 3 loses between 17% and 24% range in wintertime; other EV lose nearly 35% range. While the Tesla design (heat pump) does better than other EVs, it still loses a significant drop in range. Winter still increases recharge recovery rate for every EV; it's simple chemistry.

So, it's coming this week or next? Just pulled from the Tesla website, there are 10 Plaids available in inventory 100 miles from zip 07001. And if you order today...

And 11 MYLR, 2 MYP, 1 MY, all in stock, all within 100 miles from same zip. Maybe they lost it or something

Dude does not see outside his little box, NJ at best sees low 40s high 30s on average in the winter, and he already loses 15 miles from his 'wild' winter.

Lose 40 miles of range each night in winter?

Umm no. Not once this entire winter even though it was “mild” have I saw 40 miles of lost range.

15 at most with sentry mode.

It’s fucking hilarious people talking about ev’s that have never owned them lmaoooo

Z06 comes first, been saying that a while.

One day you can get a z06 too and a plaid.

I’ll pray you can attain such things lmaoooooo

The higher purchasing cost and complex hybrid tech with heavy battery pack and substantial extra wiring make a hybrid just as much a bad choice as EV.

I don’t know brother. I love my Lexus hybrid. It gets 40 miles to the gallon. It’s every bit as comfortable as any other Lexus but more efficient. And the electric side of it makes it get up and go pretty good for a four-cylinder. Nothing compared to my M5 of course but it’s not Purposed for that. It’s also important to know I’ll get rid of it at the end of the warranty.

Agree..

ICE not complex relatively reliable easier to fix by local mechanic not as costly to buy

EV not complex overall reliability data unclear local mechanic no chance and costly to buy

HYBRID Complex not reliable as has 2 drivetrains so plenty to go wrong and costly to buy.

the only and the most devastating advantage hybrid have over an ev in a 2035lmaoo scenario is that I don't need to change my habits ie don't plug in if I don't want to.

True, but under the new, stricter emissions regulations everybody passing like crazy, it has become increasingly challenging to make internal combustion engines comply without the assistance of electric motors. Just take a look at the EURO-7 fiasco.

Isn't it funny that everyone's enemy no 1 is carbon dioxide.
bloody hilarious if we didn't have to put up with idiotic mandates and raised taxes and increased prices at the pumps and for every known food/ utility product. And it seems like its just the start of the slope.

Haha...won't be long before we all need to carry around a carbon capture device to breathe out of. If you're rich you are exempt from that and have the option of buying carbon offsets by planting fictional trees in a fictional forest in Guatemala.

If you are that drawn to fast performance cars, and can afford virtually anything you want, why not just write a check and buy the Plaid today?

If the plan is to have the Z06 for 2 or 3 years, then get the Plaid afterwards, why do you have, and have had, a Plaid "on order" for the past 6+ months? Is your Boy Elon personally holding production of your Plaid for three years or more while you have the Z06?

Your BS just makes no sense.

Lmaoooo....o

I’m still in a model 3 lease. My gf wants it and I wanna transfer it to her name. Her credit sucks. Guess that’s what happens when you fuck with a 25 year old. Im not giving her the car while keeping it under my name.

I want the z06 first. Money isn’t the issue. Space is. There’s 5 cars in my driveway now. Adding a plaid will make it 6. I wanna keep my c7z but if I have to get rid of it to make room for the new z06 I’ll do that.

Trust me I don’t need to pretend to get cars to impress random ass dudes on a bimmerforum lmaooool

At least you know how capable a plaid is. Fastest production car for the average man, period.

Lmaoooooooo

They ditched a possibility of a 6.3 engine for the c8, maybe for a grand sport for that reason.

No desire and emissions kicking everyone’s ass.

Can’t wait for an all electric c9!!!!

Or more the reality. Having the carbon offset taken from the less rich. "You peasants don't need to breath as much. Just hold your breath once every few seconds and you'll be fine."
