Good teams have off days and lose to lesser teams. Great teams have off days and still find a way to pull out a W. Although I'm a 49er fan, I still believe the Seahawks are far and away the NFC favorite to go to the Super Bowl.

Absolutely ridiculous. They better get their asses in gear.

Thank god NO lost. Homefield is that much closer to us.

I think what could be the cure for us is getting out in front, that way our defense can play aggressively. It seems we only want to play our best when we play the Niners.

Well I think young teams play on emotion. That it's hard to get hyped up for a game that you are 17pt favorites for. They go in lax, get behind and then get motivated. The 2nd half was a slaughter. But as a fan it drives us insane! There's something to be said about a team that plays at a consistent level, that just plays their game regardless of the opponent.
Though it pains me to say, as of right now, that team is SF.

If it were strictly a Niner's thread it would be dead at this point. Trevor and I are merely breathing life into it by being respectable Hawks fans. After all it's really all about SF and SEA in the West.
