Dina was lovely, when our black and tan dashchund Jasper passed 7 years ago at 15 we immediately got another tan one from kennel in Warsaw. His bark and growl is like from a dog much larger than him.

Charlie is coming closer with just 31 driver points from MAX ! At this moment ,the RB20 is the 3th dominant car of the grid and Wolff's Benz car improved as well.. I don't see how Red Bull can win the constructors title with a driver like Checo screwing it always up ! It's time for the Red Bull Team to fix A.Newey's RB20 design and the never ending setup mess ! A. Newey : There's something I really don't like about the RB20... I mean : The clock is ticking for MAX and the Red Bull Team !

I think , Checo's car is totaled .. That sounds like a big hole in the Red Bull budget cap ...

Though it was KMags fault, mostly, the Haas cars are relatively just superficially damaged with easy repairs and I don't know it may be the last straw for the RB boss in Austria concerning the huge budget bite, so it could be 'curtains' for Checo's contract extension.

Fantastic race. Very happy for Charles Leclerc and Ferrari. Good race for McLaren. Ocon and Magnussen are idiots. Season is about to get a lot more complicated but I would never count Red Bull out. Checo will be lucky to get one year contract much less two. Honestly it is amazing that the Red Bull chassis held up that well and let Checo walk away.

Montreal is prefect for low, stiff, aerodynamically efficient cars like Red Bull. Max will be smiling soon.

I've been to Montreal ages ago and saw the track next to that fast flowing river, it's a great place to attend and the prices are reasonable with a good transport system. The track should suit the RB's much more as you say and MAX with Checo will be itching to get to it.

Horner : We're just trying to understand the RB20 issues... When I read this ...It won't be easy my friend IMHO . The RB20 setup really s@cks ! MAX in FP1 : I can't run one more lap , this car can crash at any moment.. Well...I never heard this before ! The Kmag situation ? No further investigation is required , it was just a race incident ! Good job Kmag ,3 cars sent to the trash !

It's funny but as Chas was handling the Monaco flag on the podium he dropped it and for a moment he may have had it look like the Polish national flag with the red at the bottom. |

Red Bull won't find a dynamic-functional RB20 setup for Montreal , just like in the last 3 races because it really s@cks .. Did you see Lando's topspeed at Imola ? Well that was like 343 km/h ! MAX was coming short with a top of 330 km/h In other words : McLaren and Ferrari rule now .. I'm not sure if Red Bull can fix the setup issues with that special RB20 design.. More ...(!) The Red Bull Team can't upgrade the car before the never ending setup issues are fixed ! Ohhh well . That's great news for Ferrari and McLaren and who knows even for Mercedes !

Perez calls for inquiry over lack of Magnussen investigation
Sergio Perez says Red Bull should ask the FIA why the stewards did not deem his first-lap crash with Kevin Magnussen at the Monaco Grand Prix worthy of an investigation. Magnussen is two penalty points away from an automatic one-race ban and was trying to pull alongside Perez on the climb out of Turn 1, but as the barrier follows the curvature of the road he hit Perez’s left-rear wheel and sent the Red Bull into a high-speed crash. Both Haas drivers were taken out along with Perez — whose car sustained huge damage and admits he “was a little bit shaky” afterward — but race control stated no further investigation was required. While Magnussen claimed Perez didn’t leave him any room, the Red Bull driver says it was on the car behind to take avoiding action. Perez says he isn’t surprised that Magnussen was taking such a risk despite being so close to a race ban, as he believes the potential consequences do not cross his mind. https://racer.com/2024/05/26/perez-c...investigation/ Were the stewards giving Magnussen a break to avoid slapping a ban on him? Sure seems like Magnussen could use a time out after the past couple races. I'm sure Ayao Komatsu had a thought or two on the issue. |

I can't believe what Ocon did with his car flipping high up, you don't do that near your TM, it was very similar to LEW's take off at Spa when he encountered ALO. Last edited by M5Rick; 05-26-2024 at 04:27 PM.. |

Been following F1 since I was a kid in the 80s. Tbh I never ever saw a Monaco GP this boring. It used to be a thrill. 1 overtake? Are you kidding?
Happy for Charly though!

The race in monaco consists of 4 parts: qualifying, race strategy (or better said: failure in race strategy), potential rain and crashes (go often hand in hand ). So what lacks in that list is spectacular overtakes on track. If you expect that, just don't bother to watch. What made the race itself spectacularly boring this year, is, like I said, that the red flag took away the mandatory pitstops, which means race strategy went out of the window. And with no rain, not much is left.
