My lil’ saloon was born in Bavaria, 46 years ago this day. (5/11/1976)
No longer Polaris, nor automatic, my original ultimate driving machine is now far from original, but it’s brought me so many miles of smiles… Freude am Fahren indeed. |

E46 still looks sleek. Admittedly by today's standards it is a very small car….

Beautiful Alpina there Orjan! Please tell us some more details. How long have you owned it? Do you drive it as a daily or special occasions only?

Thank you Mani59
It's car #178 of 359 produced. First registered in Germany in july 1994. First owner had it until 2004 (at 75000km), and then it was in a private collection until 2016 when it was imported to Norway by a BMW enthusiast. I bought it early in 2017 with 92500km on it. I use it almost daily in summertime, and now it has almost 113000km on it - it is a wonderful driving machine.

My twin, albeit an M52TUB25, 51k miles. MT 5 speed
It responded really well to mods, like shark injector, exhaust, tower brace, AFE filter Fun light car (That M54 is a great engine; have it in an e46)

2001 325i
My 2001 325i...the BMW that started a chain reaction in our driveway. It has 348,000mi and driven regularly. Nine cars and three motorcycles later...even my tools speak German. Now I have to sell three or four cars and one motorcycle...then I can bring a "new" BMW home.

You should get something more rare
