Just took 17 shots by hand and stitched them together in Photoshop. The biggest pain was leveling them all. I brought the wrong tripod head, so the plate on my camera won't work with the head I have with me. It's really making life difficult. I don't want to go out and buy a new tripod head just for this trip, though.

Another weekend of great photos!

Mark that picture of the fog really makes me wish I was in Chicago. I have stayed in all weekend, cowering in my air conditioned den as the mercury in our part of the country is hovering in the low triple digits.

Freudian slip, Ed? I think that's dessert, although your temps certainly make you think of the desert. It does look tasty, though.

Today in Chicago it was sunny, windy, and lower 70s. Actually a bit chilly by the water. Nice day for puttering around with the camera.

Doh! Yes, dessert! I should know better than to rely on spell check, hehe. I spent most of the day at the coast yesterday, but ended up in Yountville for dinner, which is in the Napa valley, and it was like 104 at 6:00 pm. Yikes. 70's sounds pretty good right now, plus I really want to see the model train setup at the Chicago museum that BNSF paid for. Not to mention get a hot dog!
