I'm
So Tired I had cataract surgery Friday. I was wiped out Friday and Saturday, but now it's Thursday. Could it be I'm still feeling the after effects of the anesthesia? Someone shoot me.

You are seeing the world thru new eyes??? No wonder you are worn out. Soon, the bleary vision of the world around you, especially other drivers, will reduce your visual input enough that you can sleep again.

Happy to hear you have had it done. Have you scheduled the other eye or is it not bad enough to do yet? Are they going to do a mono-vision type set up, like they did with me? How was your doctor? Do you like him/her?

I love the Dr. He's very personable, and spends time with me. I don't feel rushed. The procedure was a bit bizarre. It was like Lucy in the sky with diamonds - a psychedelic trip with all those crazy colors and shapes.

I found it hard holding still during the surgery. A little nerve racking. Glad it's done. Whew! |

When "you start going to more funerals than weddings." Another friend & neighbor passed away yesterday. He didn't want a funeral or service of any kind, so I won't really be going to one, but this makes 6 people we know or are related to who have died within 6 months. Two were COVID-related, the others were illness or just old age.

I had a similar week a few Febs ago. Big bro had a stroke (pulled plug shortly), mom died two days later (we didn't tell her about her first son), and bro in law had a stroke that paralyzed one side & put him in a wheel chair & nursing home (we are now primary caretakers). Our alcohol consumption has been higher since.... Murf Last edited by Littlebear; 04-05-2021 at 09:41 AM.. |

Remember having the hotel front desk set up a “wake up call” and then getting a call in the morning “this is your wake up call”?
