Cutie indeed.

Looks like you were on the set to get a shot like that.

My turn for critique. Taken awhile back- Naptime. Don't like the blanket but I lack the PS skill for that one.
The details really make this shot, along with the soft light to facilitate it. Also, being nice and tight gives you a perspective that you can't really see unaided with you eye. All of that makes for an attractive shot.

Your techniques worked here.

You need a bigger target. If you don't mind, my version attached below.

You can't do much sharpening with F2.8 as close as I was to the cat. Thanks.

From the smirk on her face I bet there was another "zoom" you were having trouble hiding.

That's unique mark.... now you need to add ripples for where you were standing. that might be a bit hard though...

some more water.... this was as much as i could stop it down, at 50iso and image stabilizer, then bumped up the exposure in post processing... still really couldn't get a really slow shutter speed due to it being a very sunny day.... first in a long long time.... It was amazing to get outside!!!!

Nicely done. I like the water movement. Not too overdone.

thanks, I'm fairly happy with it, I wouldn't have minded 1/3rd slower speed, but nothing more then that... don't really want the angel like water movements.

Nice water PS in the church!
First it was too much rain and clouds to get out. Now it's too much sun to get a good exposure. The photographers curse.
How about getting a Singray variable polarizer?

something to look into.

I'm happy to play in the too much sun Just have to complain about something....

I have a cokin setup with a polerizer somewhere in my place for a few filters, I found i never used any of my filters as i liked the way a lot of my shots were coming out without them, so i just leave them at home. I'll probably start carrying the polarizer again though because i've been finding a bit more recently that i'm running into water situations or haze that i want to clean a tiny bit.
