Had one of these tonight at Lebanese Taverna in Crystal City just outside DC. Delicious, but too much work to re-create at home. They make their own fig syrup, which sounds like too much effort for my lazy ass. Very tasty drink, though.

Get your shaker out

Put in 5-6 ice cube
Shake in a little turbinado sugar
Splash a generous amount of Basil Hayden
Shake in orange and regular bitters
Just a quick squirt of cold water
Shake vigorously then pour in glass
Empty rocks into sink then pour back into shaker to get rest of sugar
Pour back into glass to bad day level and fade
