Yeah . The RB19 gearbox is very slim , the gearbox is actually part of the RB19 aero package .
The slim gearbox made room for the special A.Newey diffuser , that's why the other teams can't copy the RB19 diffuser .
Because their gearbox is too big . Mercedes and Aston run with the biggest gearbox.

On the other hand : In the beginning of the season , MAX got issues with the slim RB19 gearbox .
MAX got downshift lag , but that was fixed after a few races .
Of course , the slim gearbox will also be part of the 2024/RB20 again..

This is the chief mainstay of the latest RB series that the others can't match.

They can want and beg all they want but MAX can only drive for one team with his inbuilt system of driving that no one else can manage.

Viareggio is a place I've been to more than once and not far from Monaco, I would imagine Max would be spoilt for choice choosing a yacht there.

The thing that stands out for me is that MAX at the beginning of the '23 campaign stood 6th in the all time F1 wins table and at the conclusion he has moved up to 3rd pushing Vettel one down to 4th.

Audi, Ford, Honda, and potentially GM you mean?

Remember, Honda backed out and decided to jump back in with the '26 regulations. Ford, Audi already signed up, GM just waiting in the wings.

You may be disappointed, but clearly people with a lot of money think it's a good bet.

Horner and those at MK are still confused and surprised why ''Mercedes stuck with the concepts that clearly failed in 2022''.
The final decision was with Wolff so it's understandable

Somebody has some money to spend.
Red Bull to start building new wind tunnel in 2024
Construction on Red Bull’s new wind tunnel will get underway in 2024 following a change in location as the team looks to replace its current “Cold War relic”.

Red Bull currently uses a wind tunnel near Bedford – over 20 miles from its factory in Milton Keynes – that is part of a former aircraft research site that was active between 1946 and 1994. Given the technology involved with new wind tunnels and changes to plans to ban their use in the Formula 1 regulations, Red Bull team principal Christian Horner says work will start on a new tunnel next year.

“A quirk of the regulations with wind tunnels being a thing of the future by all accounts, we’ve had to go with the times and invest in a new wind tunnel,” Horner said. “Construction will start during the course of 2024.

Can't resist the opportunity to stir the pot. I'm a bad person
FIA jumped to ‘bad conclusions’ over Wolffs - Vasseur
The FIA’s public statement about a potential investigation into a conflict of interest involving Toto and Susie Wolff was too hasty and “quite embarrassing for the whole sport,” according to Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur.
At a time when a new Concorde Agreement is set to be discussed between F1, the FIA and the teams, Vasseur says he doesn’t think the current situation is overly damaging on that front, but noted how the FIA statements brought all 10 teams together in Susie Wolff’s defense.

It was actually team bosses that asked FIA at first to investigate @ 10.44 according to this.

Yeah . It's a expensive new toy for A.Newey.

Even without a wind tunnel he already nailed it with his mistery drawings in his book and the ground-effect of the Valkyrie .
Newey's breath is aerodynamic !

The 2024/RB20 ?
A.Newey : It won't be slow !

Word is that Merc are attempting to copy the RB 19 right down to the push/pull suspension in their panic build of the 15 car at brackley.

I honestly don't feel as if Ben did anything wrong in calling for an investigation after team bosses complained, the key point being Wolff uttering something at a team meeting that anyone there could not see how he knew that so at the end of the day I can't understand why they suddenly changed their minds and put out official statements for Ben to stop it.
The main things here could well be merc engine supply and pressure from high above with the power merc has as a whole.

Ben is nuts and Wolff is ...It's useless to say what Wolff is .

The situation looks like a sarcastic comedy
