I took C4 for about 3 weeks, and started getting terrible anxiety...wtf. No more pre-workout supplements for me anymore, I'm gonna stick to a banana and peanut butter. Even hate post-workout shakes, and stay away from them. Want solid food with high carbs and high protein inside of my body after a grueling workout, not protein powder.

Hemavol. I used to take the recommended full scoop, now I just take half of that, partly because I have reduced the intensity of my work-outs and it's damn too sweet!

Honestly man I just drink coffee before a workout. I never have that crash feeling. Also I never feel like my heart is fluttering and going to jump out my chest. Give it a shot works everytime!

That was also my experience except for stuff DS makes: DS Craze never let up significantly for me (maybe I was just ridin' high on amphetamine it contained but still). Now DS makes DS Frenzy and it is almost as good with an added benefit of actually being able to sleep after it. Of course lawyers are smelling blood so nowadays you can only buy this stuff quite expensively in United Kingdom. To me it is still well worth it. I go 2 days without the pre-workout, take 2-scoops on the third day and feel energy-surge every time. And I don't even have to stop drinking coffee to feel this effect which means it is not only caffeine which gives energy in this pre-workout.

I got some frenzy but not a massive fan, I wish I'd tried Craze but I bought 9 tubs of N.O. Xplode a while ago so I've been using them.
I think they've changed the formula of that now though. |

haha I just noticed this health fitness section on this forum! I agree with coffee but add that pre workout should only be used when required, to act only as a lift or spike but not necessarily any lasting effect for a workout. We would be better off ensuring we eat sufficient cals sometime prior to workout to sustain a longer and more intense workout.

After I ran out of my normal pre-workout etc, I actually used this mixed in with crea/pro
Surprisingly does the trick lol

I usually use C4, but have tried a lot of others and always end up with the C4 again. Why? For me, honestly, its mostly the taste. It gives me enough energy, but it seems my luck that most of the pre-workouts i've tried taste like aluminum...lol

I got that idea from Sidney Crosby (hate the player, but awesome clean carb/energy snack). |
