Please understand...I LOVED BUTTON's Championship!! It was one of the most enjoyable seasons EVER. I was a Button fan as he was suffering through the Honda lack of performance.

The Button Championship is anyone saying Button outperformed Hamilton because he scored more points over 3 years. And now I can add because he finished higher in the championship with a 2nd rather than HAMs 4th. Probably two of the most intellectually dishonest things one can say. It's like me stating Hamilton is the greatest of all time because he has outscored every driver that has participated in Formula One. It's laughable.

I guess he was in Button's blind spot and it's the last thing he expected for him to be there ,I'd stop short of saying he did it on purpose..as they say,a racing incident.

Something is going wrong with the quote algorithm.

It was a perfectly legitimate place to overtake and I don't think BUT tried to take him out. I believe that the rain combined with the spray made it impossible to see and the standing water caused the tank slapper. A racing incident but HAM was the victim. He was passing BUT like a freight train before he was shunted off. Ah well.

In truth, this and many other similar incidents, are why I am enjoying this period of HAMs performance. I could name 20 races where I nearly had strokes watching hapless pit stops, cars on fire, transmission failures, engine failures, bad pit wall calls, a couple of mental fades and Ferrari International Assistance which ruined races and championships.

I am enjoying this as are many other long-suffering Hamilton fans.

As an aside, McLaren coming back to Mercedes is also sweet music to my ears. Darth Dennis should have NEVER gone to Honda. He threw away a 20 or so year relationship because of a temper tantrum about MGP.

McLaren-Mercedes. The order of the universe has been restored.

It sure looks like he purposely was trying to block HAM.

This is similar to the qualifying crash last week between VER and STR. Should VER not have dared to pass in such a crazy spot as you say and have his car there?

Hmm, so HAM is crazy to pass in a similar spot during an actual race, but a similar incident not even during a race is the engineers fault?

Not that I necessarily disagree with your reason for the VER/STR incident, I just find the two different reasons for very similar incidents interesting to say the least.

No it hasn't, you just need to edit the quote correctly. I did it a few posts back.
