Lando is saying he had a tough time in FP not getting an optimum set up for his papaya wagon and is behind a lot actually struggling a bit.

For sure based on fp1 and fp2 I have no idea how qualifying will be going and who's gonna be strong and who not.
Of course practice is always practice and engine modes, fuel rates etc play a huge factor but it's pretty cloudy to me now.
I'm eager to see how Bearman is gonna do in quali tomorrow. The HULK is always very strong in quali, so if Bearman can keep up, that'll be quite the performance.

Checo is the only driver on the grid with 2 wins at Baku. Max only won in 2022

This track is largely slow tight corners, not necessarily McLarens strong point. Same reason that Checo killed it, he likes this type of circuit, whereas Max thrives on the high speed turns.
