So some follow-up. Scans and bloodwork show cancer along with three small spots in her liver. She’s in getting a needle biopsy now with surgery to remove the mass (along with a section of her colon) is Tuesday morning. Doctor still optimistic we got it early and going for the cure. Fingers crossed!

I had a classmate from 2nd grade through high school who walked in a
peculiar manner. I never learned what her condition was, but I know that
she never had a driver’s license. Otherwise, she did well in school, despite
the cruel fact that a few students made fun of her unusual gait. Sadly, she
passed away about 15 years ago at the young age of 60.
