If you want to feel even older...I just realized that this year's crop of high school seniors wasn't even born on 9/11!

I'll give you a nice, shiny quarter to mow my lawn, kid.....

That was kinda European show.
How about the boys name from Flipper?

I can’t believe this hasn’t been mentioned unless I missed it.

Taking a photo and having to roll the film to take another. Then once the film was finished you had to take it to be developed before seeing your work of art or how crap you are

I asked my parents why it took so long for the Apollo moon mission astronauts to answer Mission Control.

When MLK was shot, we were visiting relatives in Memphis. At that time Dad was working for Bud Moore Engineering in South Carolina and Mom was driving a loaner, a white 65 Mustang. We got pulled over several times that night. Mom got to crying, thinking she was doing something wrong. I remember sitting in the passenger seat, singing in a singsong voice; "Mommas a bad driver, Mommas a bad driver, Momma can't drive, momma can't drive". We had no idea what had happened.

You’ve been around if you say ‘I’ll dial his number’.
My kids says ‘I’ll call his number’.
Also,
I have an old iMac that I keep because I have stored on it thousands of photos and many hundreds of songs that I’ve loaded on to my old iTunes library and can not be gotten elsewhere. When I load some music onto the Music Collection on any of my BMW’s, I call them albums. My son asked my one time, ‘Dad, why do you call the playlists “albums” ?’
I had to explain.

We lived in Memphis at the time. Immediate curfew. Frightening evening.

I could actually handshake with a 1200 baud modem back in the day!

Dolphin? Never tried. I am fluent in a few Terrier dialects, though. I used to have 5-10 minute conversations with our Westie when he was younger. Now, all that he does is complain about the squirrels/chipmunks on his lawn.

Get off my lawn, kid...and take that new-fangled 9600 baud modem with you!!!!!

I was late to the game. I got my first computer, a Tandy RL 1000, in 1986.
