LMFAO !!!!

yes, all my shots are handheld - i don't own a tripod.

well, i own one, but it has yet to make it from underneath all my Nike Shox in the closet, HAHA !!!!

it was @ 7:30 in the evening on Saturday.

i "think" i hit that one with a 1/90th because i didn't want to freeze the water - not too sure now.

now that i look at the picture, i could have positioned myself in a better spot to be able to actually capture the water - as opposed to letting it blend in with the freaking garage door.

BOOOOOO !!!!!

i got some more, i'll post them when i get home.

Well that is REALLY steady. According to you EXIF you shot at 1/30s@58mm/2.8....I take it the lens has some great VR on it...what glass is it?

.
Thanks to the bokeh, we wouldn't have known it was a GD if you hadn't said it. Did you already have an entry in the bokehlicious contest?

24-70. no VR.

i was crouched down like a catcher next to my little tree.

i just reached down and held the camera with both hands between my knees and took the shot.

there was NO WAY i was about to lay on that wet grass lololol.

i must have taken about 8 shots at different shutters. when my wife pulled up this picture she said "you don't even need to edit this one".

i did anyways because EVERY PICTURE looks better edited HAHA !!!

yeah, i have an entry, but i'm not sure if it's bokeh or just really out of focus

it's the shot i took of my wife's watch with the cheap ass macro lens adapter.

I like this one better and say it's got bokeh. In fact, this bokeh looks way more natural than that watch. That one looks like it's just an effect cause by a lens that's cloudy around the edges. This one looks "real" to me.

It's not too late to swap out.

Dave

We all know he's bossy and all, but you don't have to do what Dave tells you

But, I agree with Dave, that your sprinkler pic is better than your watch one. It's up to you if you wanna switch it... no pressure.

yeah, the "watch one" was more of an effect that the lens gave the picture.

i understand bokeh, but i was just so geeked on the cool effect that i entered it.

i have some amazing shots where the background literally looks like a smooth backdrop.

so soft and creamy.

i know the first one definitely - PTM B/W Film

i "think" the second one might be an original, just messed with the typical levels and such.....

Had a hitchhiker this morning. Luckily he stayed quiet and was content to chill on the a/c vent. First stop sign I came to, he was out.
