The changes are subtle, but they make a difference. Basically just cleans up the appearance of the car. Front lower bumper is different, side skirts are different, the side view of the tail end of the car is more compact, etc.

Now if they'd only get rid of the Bangle Butt and those retarded headlights...

It's amazing what BMW considers a facelift of their models vs other car makers.

Don't think of it as a facelift. More like a model refresh. I know if I were driving a 5 series I wouldn't feel bad the new one was coming out. I do like the subtle changes but they are subtle which is good i guess. I can't say that if I were driving the 7 pre-facelift. The 3 we will see. maybe we will see a ZHP in the future or maybe an entire facelift.

you are wrong I like the new car alot, new gearbox, new engine, new brake system, its not the look that is in the facelift, it is the hightec stuff that will be in the new 5er and will be in the 3 and 7 too.

I know what you mean. There are other things to consider than the external appearance yes, but it's not like this wasn't expected. Things don't remain the same forever. BMW surprised us on other worse occasions. I don't count this as a surprise.

Its nice that they're packaging the aero kit with the ZSP package. I think you'd have 2 options, ZSP with and without the aero kit.

Let's hope this policy works its way down to the E90. It'd be nice to have the option of ZSP plus aero (i.e. m-tech kit) on the 328i/335is
