The story of romance between the duo first appeared in The National Enquirer. The paper reported Rachel has been having an affair with Woods, who was hurt in a car crash in the driveway of his Florida home this weekend.

People came to know about Rachel after her fiancé perished in the Twin Towers attack of 2001.

She became the talk of the town at that time. Many empathized with her grief. It was after this that she started occupying space on gossip pages on regular basis.
