Remote iTunes sync
Can I sync my iPhone through a remote access connection? I keep all my music on a media server in Canada. I'm currently in Hong Kong. If I had remote desktop setup on my computer, can I sync my iPhone to my media server?

I don't see why not though. When I remoter desktop my media server, shouldn't it have access to my local resources of my laptop such as usb?
So if i map the HDD of my media server to my laptop, I can sync to it wherever? In that case, will I have 2 iTunes running of the same HDD?

when you remote desktop into something, you get access to the remote ports, not other way around.
you have to map remote drive with your music, point your local itunes to the library on the remote drive and then you should be able to sync.
