[Pics] Koni Challenge@Laguna, Fall Line & Turner
Replay of Watkins is on Speed right now, but here are pics from a few weeks ago at Laguna.
I talked to the Fall Line crew, the S65 is actually easier to work on than the S54, but the electronics in the new car are a bitch. Car is definitely heavier but they're picking up the pace now.

TMS 328i off to the side on pre-grid. Will & Don drove the wheels off this thing.
TMS M3 lined up ready to go, Bell & Said. They were in 1st place until the car hosed itself Marks & Gleason. BTW those rims are 17s, and iirc they're staggered. A legend in the making, Matt Bell, bay area boy, was in pole position (isn't he always). And a legend already, Boris Said (Auberlen wasn't there for this race):

Thanks, glad you guys like them.
I'll put up more of TMS/Kinetic/Automatic tonight. For now here's Kinetic doing a pit-stop demo:

Since you asked for other cars, here's a couple from TRG:
And finally, my buddy Mark from Hooverspeed. Todd Lamb had pole and drove this car to victory in the Playboy Cup: That's Todd on the other side of the car pushing her to pre-grid.

Hey great pics, thanks for sharing. My girlfriend and I were there that weekend too. Was it me, or was it damn hot that weekend? WTF? When I checked the weather prior to leaving LA it said Monterey was going to be 68 degrees. It felt like it was over 95 there. Oh well, fun race nonetheless so doesn't matter how hot.
Those M3s sure were pretty. And it was amazing how quickly Bell shot out into the a dominant lead. We were there to cheer on my buddy Beau in the #128 NextGen Motorsport BMW. Unfortunately he was the first casualty of race, putting the BMW 330 he was driving face first into the wall coming out of turn 4. He was ok, just a bit sore and bummed.

Matt Bell....legend in the making??? Pleeease. His Dad pays for his ride. Sure he can go out and qualify fast but then he only does a handful of laps in the actual race before a real legend (Auberlin or Said) come in and do the real work. With a supporting crew like those two, Turner is taking no risk with Bell as he knows the real pros could easily take the car from deep in the pack to the front as evidenced at Watkins.
