Some pics from Moab

Guys,
Just a couple selected pictures from Moab this weekend, a couple HDR...

EDIT... I added in the non-HDR shots below the HDR for the folks that weren't too up on my adjustments.

The arch, shot with 50mm:

A very old cabin at the beginning of the delicate arch hike, shot with 50mm

An outside look at the fiery furnace, shot with 14-24mm (14mm FL)

Shot with 14-24mm (14mm FL)

Just behind the arch, shot with 14-24mm (14mm FL)

Awesome pics. I'm still waffling on the HDR stuff, though. It looks great with the colors and contrasts, but it doesn't look natural. More like a painting. I like them, yet I don't. Weird, eh?

There can be different levels of realism with HDR. Some look perfectly natural, with just more dynamic range. I agree though, when they start looking "cartoony" it hinders the picture.

Having said that, I really like most of these shots
