xbox 360 modding
Does anyone here have any experience with modded xbox 360's?
I'm thinking about getting mine modded, and I want to make sure I get the right one. |

How to spend more time in front of the television and less time interacting with women.

haha yeah ok sure. one of the main reasons i modded my xbox is because i hardly play it. i cant justify spending 60 bucks on a game that i will hardly play. get your facts straight before you talk shit.

Well, your warranty is at risk. They replaced my xbox 360 8 times for free, so a modded one might break sooner. (speculation of course)

I'm interested in this too...
Do you download the games onto your HDD from your computer after downloading it from a torrent site? I'm in the same boat as silvergray545 - I don't want to pay $60 for CoD Waw, Gears 2, etc when I hardly play it

You download games onto your computer and then burn them to a dvd. If you are not computer savy, dont attempt to mod your xbox. You could always find someone to do it for you.

yea dont try it yourself if youre unsure...you will have a 300 dollar paperweight
and you also need a dual layer dvd burner, agbx to check stealth, a good burner program that understands layer break....lots of dual layer dvds or pm and ill get you what you want.

I was wondering what is the best mod to have done. I have seen both hardware (adding a chip), and software. I forget the name of the software (I think it started with an 'L'), but I think it was version # 1.5.1
Anyway, I just bought an Xbox Pro with the immediate intention of having it modded, but I didn't know if they we're more likely to fail, or if I should go ahead and have an upgraded cooling system installed while I'm at it. |
