I drove an 08' Mugen SI today...

I must say it looks better in person, but still a bit much. Power wise the car needs a serious boost... no pun intended. It handled pretty well but not well enough to make up for only 197hp to the crank. I fear this car would get old and fast especially at this price tag and if you were to take a brand new Civic Si and dump $10,000 into it you would have a monster vs. a cream puff (Mugen) regarding a track car. The car was fun, but nothing I would ever consider owning and FAR from an Integra Type R. Overall it is exactly what I expected, a massively inflated brand whore car with a limited number just to help convince people to pay up. I wasn't impressed, now reduce the price $8,000... ok then we'll talk.

I'm just putting out my personal experience with it.

We all knew it was not going to be radically different, i hope you now understand that you are paying for the name, not for that cars brilliance.

The 197hp is decent for the SI. But, if I were to ever own one it would have to be a comptech supercharged coupe.

Peak torque of 139lb-ft @ 6100 rpm...it's basically dead below 4,000.
