Sound from Dual vs Quad Exhaust Systems

This may have been brought up before but I was curious to know whether a quad exhuast gave a better sound then a dual exhuast. I have heard many mixed things about it. For instance does a quad eisenmann sound better then a dual. Thats what i want to know but not only about eisenmann but more about them in general. Thanks...

I heard a couple of dual setups at a meet a couple weeks ago, sounds about the same as a standard performance exhaust

The E90 the 2x76mm and 4x70mm Eisenmann exhaust will sound 100% the same. Both exhaust use a single canister. The Eisenmann Sport Performance will sound more like stock.

agree.

i was also surprised that even though the aftermarket exhausts had a deeper rumble, they weren't too loud.

yea im with the guy a post up, i was honestly hoping the exhaust to be louder (i have a race) but sure as hell is better than the almost completly silent stock 325i exhaust. the stock exhaust made me think i was driving a volvo again...(at lower RPMs of course..)

In the morning, when I go outside to start my car, the exhaust being cold is initially so freakin loud that I'm embarrassed because its parked right next to my neighbor.....but 6 seconds later it goes away. I love my quads, the car way better looking with them on instead of the single pipes.
